The map is drawn to the scale of one inch to the mile and extends from Wokingham in the north west to Croydon and Bletchingley n the west, and the Sussex border in the south. This undated sheet dates to the late 1830s based on the railway content included. Interestingly the London & South Western Railway section from Nine Elms to Woking opened in 1838 is not included.
