The fine detailed sea chart of the British Isles was by Rigobert Bonne but published by Jean Lattre. The map was published to accompany the ‘Neptune Francois’ although it does not appear in the British Library or National Maritime Museum examples. The British Library holds an example bearing the date 1763 after the imprint of Lattre below the border. This appears to pre-date that issue. With a very ornate title cartouche. Provenance: Doreen Green 2001. not in Sanderson (1971); not in Shirley (2004).
