Quarto, full contemporary mottled calf, very ornate gilt spine with raised bands, red morocco gilt lettered label affixed. With engraved title page by Pierre-Philippe Choffard dated 1758, pp. xii, 171, with 13 maps by Bellin, 8 of these are folding, two in early colour, there are also 9 engraved vignettes in the text, 8 of which are views.
