A reduction of Humphrey Lhuyd’s map of Wales first published by Abraham Ortelius in 1573. In 1598 Barent Langenes published in Middleburgh a miniature atlas to rival that of Ortelius’ miniature. The maps were largely engraved by Jodocus Hondius and his brother-in-law Pieter van den Keere. Two years later the same series appeared in a French edition entitled ‘Thresor des Chartes’.
