The maps are reductions of Greenwood’s large scale maps of the counties with the exception of those of Bucks, Cambridge, Hereford, Hertford, Norfolk and Oxford which he did not survey. The maps were first issued in four parts from 1829 to 1834. Each contains a notable view. Carroll 102; Chubb 458a.

With engraved title-page, early wash coloured map of England and Wales, 46 double-page early wash coloured engraved maps by J. and J. Neale, J. and C. Walker and others. Some light soiling and spotting otherwise fine.
