A superb, extremely rare , separately published two-sheet plan of the town of Pontefract in Yorkshire. It is drawn at the scale of 2 inches to 100 feet. Paul Jollage was the surveyor about whom little else is known, it is the only work attributed to him in Tooley’s Dictionary. It was engraved by John Pine (1690?-1756) in London, a highly skilled craftsman. Eden (1975); Worms & Baynton-Williams (2011).
