Oblong quarto (240 x 300 mm.), contemporary half calf, red paper boards with original title label to upper board, worn. With engraved title and dedication leaf, 1 definition plate and 30 engraved maps (29 in early colour) interspersed with 64 pages of text. Some water staining and light foxing to the first few leaves, the plates generally in good condition. Front free endpaper with some marginal restoration.
