Folio (365 x 235 mm.), two volumes bound as one, nineteenth century full sheep with blind panels, ribbed spine with gilt calf title label, worn. Engraved frontispiece, typographic title page in red and black, published originally in parts unpaginated, with 48 maps, 35 views and 59 costume plates, that of the East Indies torn just into the image.
