It included 37 maps, a second expanded edition was issued in 1808 which is that offered here with 46 maps. The example of this edition at the Sotheby’s auction of the Wardington collection fetched £1,750. Provenance: manuscript ownership inscription of Emilie Schnell on front free endpaper.
