In 1820 Samuel Leigh published ‘Leigh’s New Picture of England and Wales’, a miniature county atlas which proved a success. For it he engaged the services of Sidney Hall to engrave a series of engraved maps. The series of maps can be found sold as a separate county atlas as here but is more often found bound with the Road Book. A corrected edition updated to record the passing of the Reform Bill. Not in Chubb but refer to 373.
