A very rare map by Peiter Meijer published in “Algemeene Oefenschoole” which was issued in two volumes in 1763 and 1770. Although the Hertfordshire map is dated 1763 it is the first in the second volume published in 1770. The work is a translation of and designed as Benjamin Martin’s “Natural History of England”, 1755-63. Hodson 40a p. 223; Hodson Atlases 260.
