This is a very rare complete set of the 45 aquatint views mostly of Amsterdam by Lutz and Hoogkamer after drawings by Cornelius de Kruyf and others. The series of views was published in nine parts with 5 plates each and is therefore difficult to find with the complete compliment. The images display many significant parts of Amsterdam along with views of Haarlem, Soestdijk, The Hague, Apeldoom and Broekhuizen. There are two particularly fine aquatints of the Kalverstraat in Amsterdam where the publisher Francois Buffa had his own premises. Landwehr 339.
