This attractive map of Asia Minor with an ornate baroque title cartouche is engraved by John Gibson for Thomas Salmon’s ‘The Universal Traveller’ published 1752-3 in three volumes. It appears in the second. Shirley ‘Atlases in the British Library’ T.Salm 5a no. 12.
