An uncommon sea chart of the dangerous coastline of south western portion of Ireland which was first published by William Mount and Thomas Page from at least 1729 in the ‘English Pilot First Part, Southern Navigation’. It extends along the west coast from the Mouth of the River Shannon to Dungarvan on the south coast including the Counties of Kerry, Cork and Waterford. Along the way it takes in Dingle and Cork. An inset of Kinsale Harbour features the approaches to the town in detail. There is a scattering of soundings in many harbours alongside recommended anchorage points. Shirley ‘Atlases in the BL’ M.M&P 1b no. 13.
