A scarce panorama of the city during an important period in North America’s history. It is derived from the Bakewell engraving of the famous Burgis view and depicts the city between the 1720s and 1740s. Published in the August 1761 issue of the London Magazine the print shows the waterfront on the south side of New York. It depicts a busy port with prominent features numbered.
