A beautifully engraved map of the Mediterranean Sea extending from Spain and Portugal in the west to Italy, Greece and the Holy Land along with the North African coast and the islands. It is by William Berry and decorated with two attractive cartouches. Berry produced a series of large two sheet maps like this from 1680-89 and collected them in to a very rare atlas.
