Baron von Pufendorf was an active writer of Swedish history and politics. This map of the Gulf of Gdansk orientated to the south accompanied his history of the Swedish wars entitled ‘Sieben Bucher von denen Thaten Carl Gustavs Konigs in Schweden’ published in 1697.
