An engraving by Wenceslaus Hollar of debated identity. Pennington cites the debates over whether the image depicts Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII. The Strawberry Hill catalogue of 1842 identified it as “Anna Boleyn … in the character of Faith” although no further evidence to support it has been found. It is normally thought of as a depiction of St. Barbara because of its resemblance to a stained glass window in the municipal museum in Bale. Pennington 176.
