An above average sized panorama of the bustling city of London. The city then as now is dominated by St. Pauls Cathedral despite being surrounded by the spires of numerous churches. Johann Christoph Haffner was an engraver born in Ulm 1668 who died in Augsburg 1754. The name of Marcus Abraham Ruprecht also appears in the imprint and it is to either of these individuals that the series of prints has been ascribed. He was a publisher in Augsburg from the beginning of the 1700s. The title above the print is engraved in reverse and the main title below is repeated in Italian.
