A superbly engraved sea chart by Gerard Coerk published in one of the finest Dutch sea atlases of the time by Pieter Goos. Goos’ marine charts were highly esteemed in the seventeenth century. This chart takes in the whole of the Baltic Sea displaying the coasts of north east Europe including present day Poland, Latvia and Lithuania, Russia, Finland, Sweden and Denmark.
