A fine RARE LARGE SCALE PLAN of the city of The Hague in the Netherlands. Daniel I. Langeweg was a book and mapseller in The Hague, Tooley’s Dictionary only records three town plans by him one of which is this map. It is dedicated to Willem V, the Prince of Orange at the time. The map is decorated with several armorial shields and is published in The Hague by H.C. Gutteling who is not listed in Tooley’s ‘Dictionary of Mapmakers’. Tooley (1999-2004).

460 x 560 mm., EARLY WASH COLOUR, with two old horizontal folds, some professional repair to double folds on the verso, light toning to upper centrefold, part of the imprint of Gutteling lower right has been enhanced with contemporary manuscript, otherwise in decent condition.
