A very fine water colour album including twenty-six of Ceylon (Sri Lanka), two of St. Helena and one of the Cape of Good Hope, all with English titles. The strength of this album lies in the views which are nearly all strong images. They depict recently built roads and passes in the highlands of the island, many in the environs of the capital Kandy. These include views of the Lake temple, Kandy Lake, Maligawa temple, Kattambe, Jail Street in Kandy, etc., There are also two views of Fort Mac Donald and one of Fort Badulla, two further ones depict Colombo.
