A very rare map of Middlesex by John Ogilby in its first state. One of only three English counties completed by him for his intended but unpublished atlas. The project was abandoned in favour of the ‘Britannia’ issued in 1675. Skelton (1970) p. 185; Rodger (1972) 279.
