An attractive double hemispheric map of the world displaying several tracks of explorers across the Pacific Ocean. The latest discoveries noted are those in the Antarctic in January 1739. It is surround by six small spheres. A rare world map published by Henri de Leth (1703-66) who was part of an extensive family involved in publishing and selling maps. He is believed to be the son of the founder Andries de Leth. Koeman II pp. 267-70.
