Samuel Gustav Hermelin (1744-1820) was a publisher in Stockholm. This large scale map was published in the ‘Geograpiske Chartor afver Swerige. Although this atlas was published privately it was thought of as an official work. The work was a collaborative effort between himself and C. P. Hallstrom amongst others. They used new and past work to create an acclaimed atlas highly significant in Swedish cartography. This map was separately issued. Nordenskiold Collection 88 no. 25.
