A map of northern Scotland first printed in Tommaso Porcacchi’s ‘L’Isole piu Famose del Mondo’ published in Venice 1572. This issue is from Lasor a Varea’s ‘Universus Terrarum Orbis Scriptorum’ published in 1713. His real name was Raffaello Savonarola and the two volume work was a compilation of plates and views from numerous earlier sources.
