Ex John Senex’s very rare ‘English Atlas’ first issued from about 1710 as a collection of maps but not with a title page until 1714. As can be seen by the date of 1708 on this map they were in preparation for some time before. The title cartouche bears a medallion portrait of King Louis XIV. Shirley BL T.Sen 1a no. 14.
