This detailed map of Tierra del Fuego was published in Rigobert Bonne’s ‘Atlas Encyclopedique’. It details the Straits of Magellan and bears five inset maps. It displays the track of the Resolution, Captain James Cook’s ship in the second voyage of 1772-75. Upper left outside the margin is stated ‘Cook 2e Voyage’. It is engraved by Andre. Phillips, P.L. (Atlases) 288.
