A large detailed map of the continent of Europe published by Laurie and Whittle in 1795 in ‘The New Universal Atlas’. It bears subsidiary titles at the lower margin of the top two sheets and above the margin of the lower two sheets. Interestingly at the end of the display of nations flags at the bottom is one of the United States. Shirley BL Atlases T.Lau 1a nos. 4 & 5.
