A curious UNRECORDED circular plan of the immediate environs of London extending from Kensington to the Isle of Dogs. It is not listed in Darlington and Howgego. It can be dated from the presence of the Greenwich and the Great Western Railways to c.1840. The main urban area is in early red wash colour. Beneath the map is a possible clue to its publication reading “Scrap-book Ornaments or Watch-papers. A second one on the same leaf is entitled “Lines on Temperance”.
