Plan of the battle of the Bay of Bulls near Cadiz fought during the early days of the War for Spanish Succession, here engraved by Isaac Basire. A small assumption is made in naming the engraver Isaac as the initial could be read as a ‘J’ for his son James who was not born until 1730.
