John William Norie, a noted mathematician and hydrographer, took over the famous nautical chart firm of William Heather in 1812. A nice detailed chart of the south west coast of Sumatra or Indonesia with the Sunda Strait in the lower right. It includes insets of numerous bays and harbours.
