This fine attractive map of Asia Minor with Cyprus is from Philippe Cluver’s ‘Introductionis in Universam Geographicam’ as published in Amsterdam, 1697. The first edition of this work was published in the 1620s and there were numerous later editions although many did not include maps. This series of 43 maps was first published in 1661.
