At first glance this map looks like it might come from Nicolas Bellin’s ‘La Petite Atlas Maritime’ but it does not. We have been unable to identify its origin. It has a similar title to a chart found in Comte Louis Antoine de Bougainville’s Voyage published 1768. It might come from another edition of this work.
