This map appeared in some of the later editions of Robert De Vaugondy’s folio atlas which was issued by Charles Francois Delamarche. Dated 1804 it bears an inset upper right of the Orkney and Shetland Islands. Below this is an Explication translating many of the terms of the map. A table to the left details the political structure of the islands. An ornate title cartouche upper left bears a coastal scene.
