From Carington Bowles’ “New Medium Atlas. The “Atlas Anglicanus” was first issued in parts which is exceedingly rare and then as the first edition 1767 re-published in 1777. It was published as the ‘New Medium Atlas’ by Carington Bowles in 1785 bearing different imprints.
