This classical map was firsts published in the ‘Geographia Sacra’ by Francois Halma (1653-1722). He was a printer, publisher, and bookseller in Utrecht, Amsterdam, and Leeuwarden. This is the first state of his map illustrating the bishoprics of the British isles. The remaining two states were published by Pierre Vander Aa.
