The ‘Town and Country Magazine’ was issued monthly from January 1769 to December 1796 and was printed by Archibald Hamilton. Jolly lists only four maps that were published in it, this is the second. It is a fine detailed map of the region around Boston with all of the roads indicated. With an inset plan entitled ‘A Plan of Boston and Charlestown from a Drawing made in 1771’. Bound in to the ‘Town and Country Magazine’ issue for the year 1775. This contains several other plates. Jolly, D.C. (Brit Per) TOWN-2; Sellers & Van Ee 894; Guthorn, P.J. (Amer Rev) 159-1.
