This edition of the ‘miniature’ Ortelius atlas was first published in Brescia in 1598. The map is derived directly from the ‘Septentrionalium’ in the 1577 miniature Ortelius atlas, itself a reduced version of the folio by Ortelius in 1570. Burden 126.
