A fine map of Piedmont with insets of the ‘Isle and Kingdom of Sardinia’ and ‘Mont Blanc in Faucigni …’ It is derived from a map by Francis de Caroly published in Turin. This fine English version appeared in Laurie & Whittle’s ‘New and Elegant Imperial Sheet Atlas’. The majority of examples are in regular outline colour, this superb example is in full wash colour.
