This very rare fine large sea chart of the Mediterranean Sea was first published in Mount & Page’s ‘English Pilot Part Three’ in 1716. Engraved by Herman Moll this example is from the 1727 edition. It includes insets of ‘Livorn or Legorne’. ‘The Bay of Tunis’, ‘The Gulf of Smirna’ and ‘The Bay of Scanderoon’. A further inset lists all the islands in the Archipelago, in all sixty eight. NMM 425 no. 144.
