A slightly oversize map of the Great Lakes region. It was published in the issue for November 1755 at the outbreak of the French and Indian War. Page 312 states ‘We shall give two other Maps of North American, which may be joined together, and will make a cpmpleat Map of that part of the world.’ It was intended that this map be joined to ‘A Map of Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Maryland with Part of New Jersey, &c.’ published in July of the same year.
