A superb rare sea chart of Corfu and nearby coastlines. The main town and castle in Corfu is clearly outlined. It is engraved by ‘J[oel] Gascoyne’ and was first published in 1677. This example was published in Mount & Page’s ‘English Pilot Part Three’ in 1747. NMM 425 no. 139; Shirley ‘Atlases in the BL’ M.M&P 3a no. 16; Zacharakis 2156.
