The title identifies the map as being the work of L’Abbe Diquemare here updated by de la Rochette. It features in great detail the waters of the British Channel and the Bay of Biscay. The coasts of Ireland, Wales, England, France and Spain are featured. All of the approaches to east are lined and lettered with the Explanation under the title detailed the type of ground found. The track of the British Fleet commanded by Lord Howe during the battle of the Glorious First of June is shown.
