An uncommon sea chart of the central western portion of Ireland which was first published by William Mount and Thomas Page from at least 1729 in the ‘English Pilot First Part, Southern Navigation’. It extends along the west coast from the Bay of Galloway south to the River Shannon with north orientated to the left. The two major towns of Galloway and Limrick are both featured. There is an extensive network of soundings leading to both towns. Shirley ‘Atlases in the BL’ M.M&P 1b no. 12.
