An attractive map of Greater Tartary or as the title indicates of the land of the Great Khan. Effectively this illustrates the Mongol Empire. It extends from the Caspian Sea to Korea. It is filled with minute detail and is beautifully engraved to show the topography. With an inset of explanatory French text at upper right.
