A high quality collection of watercolours of the area in and around Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. The back cover bears the handwritten note of ‘S. H. Donaldson, 18 Shaftesbury Avenue, South Harrow’. One image is entitled the Non-Inflammable Film Co. According to newspapers of the day the company opened the factory most likely in 1826 to produce the new invention of H. J. Malabar.
