The title page to the second volume of Theodore de Bry’s ‘Grand Voyages’ which described the French voyage to North America. In 1562 Admiral Gaspard de Coligny, sent Jean Ribaut a highly talented navigator to Florida. This work describes that expedition and was illustrated by Jacque Le Moyne’s iconic map of Florida.
