An uncommon battle plan from Jean Dumont (Baron de Carlscroon) and Jean Rousset de Missy’s ‘The Military History of the late Prince Eugene of Savoy and of the late John, Duke of Marlborough’ printed in 1736-37. The Battle of Tanierès, took place in the department of Aisne in Picardie in northern France. With a decorative title at bottom left corner and an ornate explanation bottom right.
