This map is from Sir Alexander Murray’s ‘The True Interest of Great Britain, Ireland, and our Plantations’ published in 1740. It was a work which discussed ways of improving agriculture, mining and land settlement. It is engraved by Emanuel Bowen. ESTC T102909; Moir (1973) vol. 2 p. 164.
